Finn in his coat and Liam with the umbrella
waiting in the long line to check in.
Liam with *my* homework project...we had to "be creative" and make the gingerbread man look like him...I think I did an okay job, and I even let him help!!!
I am a slacker mom through and through. I did not take any special pictures for Liam's first day of preschool. Honestly I was happy I got him out the door. It was raining, and I didn't feel like lugging two children, an umbrella and a camera. I did snag a few photos a couple of weeks later though, once I had found my raincoat in the basement.
Liam goes to preschool Monday-Friday from 8:30-2:30. We leave our house a little after 8 and drive the 3 miles (awesome I know) and wait in line to check him in. We cannot drop him off until after 8:30...so the line can get pretty long, we could wait and drop him later, but then I would have to park much further away, so I don't mind waiting. I drop Liam off and Finn and I head home for some one on one time. My darling boy has been taking full advantage of the quiet house and napping from 10-noon every day! I hardly know what to do with myself. WE pick Liam up a little after two and come home to feed the hungry boys and play.
I think Liam likes preschool. For the first few weeks all I could get out of him was how he hated stupid boring nap time (forced rest hour) He fell asleep once, but the rest of the time has been teaching himself how to lay still and quite. I know this is an almost impossible task for my constantly moving, and talking son. This past week though, he hasn't said anything about nap time at all, so I think he is getting used to it.
He comes home singing the songs and playing the games, and talking about yummy lunch (he ate broccoli because it looks like little trees....he failed to notice that whenever I've served it at home!) he can now spell all his colors thanks to the songs, and loves it when they play the bean bag game, and the bear hunt song. All in all I think this whole preschool thing is going well.

How exciting that you get a little free time. I cherish my afternoon nap time. THe babies nap from 130-330 and I love that I get a little time to think and keep my life striaght. I love Liam's gingerbread man too
