New socks and wood floors

Ta Da! Its our first video posted in our new house! The boys were having a blast "skating" on our beautiful hardwood floors in their socks. These two always need to be in motion, let me tell you! So you can see our living room, dining room and back into our kitchen if you are paying attention. We don't have anything up on the walls yet, and with the wood, it is a bit hollow sounding. Oh well.

FYI, Hurricane Hanna downgraded to Tropical Storm Hanna, and hit landfall (or however you say it!) around 1 am. So I guess it rained pretty hard and the wind blew fairly strongly from the hours of 1-5 in the morning, but we were all blissfully asleep. No flooding, no power outages, and now I have survived my first tropical storm. It was even dry enough (for my children) to play outside later on in the afternoon. Hopefully I'll have the basement in better shape before the next big storm blows through here. I was mentally preparing myself to pitch most of it anyway if we did flood, I might as well take the momentum and really get rid of some stuff!
