Here are some photos from Dominic's promotion to E5 more than 2 years ago...as you can tell from the BDU's instead of the ACU's. For the next promotion it will be Velcroing the new rank on instead of pinning.

Good News!
Dominic maxed the promotion board. He got 150 points out of 150 points!!!! And...it only takes 30 days for promotions to go through now, so he will be E6 by August. This is a true blessing! We are very excited and happy. I knew he would pass, but its nice to know for certain. Now we just need to figure out how we can get into new housing before too long...a battle for another day. Today we are celebrating!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So....what does an E6 do anyway? :)
ah, I sometimes forget about those not used to military lingo. E6 is a Staff Sargent. It is another level up the NCO (non comissioned officer) scale, basically it means more money, and a few added responsibilties, and a chance to move into better housing!
Congrats! How exciting. It is amazing he maxed the board too! That is really good!!
