An afternoon at the beach
We picked a rainy weekend to make our escape. So our trip to the beach was limited to about an hour in the afternoon between storms. The boys had fun. Finn loved the sand, but wasn't so crazy about the ocean, which was fine with me. We think he got some saltwater in his mouth or eyes, or the unpredictability of the waves threw him off. Liam loved the waves, even more than the pool he confessed. And can't wait till we can go back (and stay in the hotel again, of course) I was unable to go in, because there was no place to change into my suit...maybe next time. I did get my feet wet, and was able to keep Finn happy by building sand castles for him to knock down. Liam and Dominic loved playing in the waves together, and we had to leave all too soon. But now we have something to look forward to and think about.

THat looks like fun, I thought about taking the kids to the beach today. We will see. I can't believe how big the waves were though. Liam was so brave.
I am so envious! I have been wanting to go that way for a year!! I'll have to get some info from you and start planning! :) Glad you guys got to get away though! :) Looks like you all had so much fun!
What a wonderful daughter-in-law! Besides holding a brand new grandchild, watching this beach video was the most fun i have had all week!
