SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

It started snowing last night while we were sleeping. Liam knew it was supposed to snow and knew he would see some when he woke up this morning. 6 am rolls around and all I hear is "can I look at the snow" I rolled over (getting harder to do) and opened the blinds. It was pretty, and still snowing pretty hard. Liam of course wanted to go out side right away, but said we at least had to wait till the sun came up! We had breakfast and got things ready and made our way outside at 8. It was still snowing pretty hard by then, but the boys were so excited to get outside. The one thing Liam wanted to do was make a snowman, but right now the snow is way to fluffy, it does not stick together. I am hoping it melts just a tiny bit today so we can try to make a snowman tomorrow before it melts away all together.
We played outside for about half an hour. It was Finnigan's first experience with snow, but I don't think he liked it much, because it was still snowing it went in his eyes, that was all I could get out of him. He wanted to be inside or in my arms, which made it difficult for me to play with Liam. We walked around a bit, made snow angel's and brushed off the car (while its still cool for a 4 year old.) Then we went back in to warm up and peel off our wet clothes.
It stopped snowing for a little bit around 11. I think we have at least three inches, which is a lot for NC all at once. Liam and I went back out again when Finn went down for his nap, but the snow was still to fluffy for a snowman. We tried to follow some squirrel tracks for awhile, made some of our own. Looked for icicles and tasted the fluffy snow, and then made our way back in when Liam got cold. I loaded up a few photos just because it is exciting for us to have snow. As I type this is has started snowing again. I guess we could get as much as 6 inches! Hopefully we will be able to make that snowman before it all melts away. That is the one thing Liam has been talking about all winter. Enjoy the photos, while we enjoy the snow while it lasts!

I think it was so crazy to wake up to all this snow! My kids were the same way! This was the first snow for Olivia and the first one I think that Noah can remember. We didn't last too long outside either! Call us when your not busy and we can head out to see you (weather permitting) :) We miss you guys tons!

Hope Liam gets to make his snowman--how disappointing to have snow and not be able to do that. Glad you had fun anyway.
