bottles bottles everywhere

I've created a home brewing monster!!! We have one batch of beer in bottles, one batch in primary fermentation, and as soon as that moves into secondary fermentation we are starting a batch of hard cider (later this week) We also have another brew kit coming in the mail that I think Dominic wants to get started before he goes out on rotation (maybe after he gets back?) along with plans for a second batch of cider, this time spiced. If that isn't enough he's thinking about reusing the glass gallon cider jugs and starting some wine!!!!!!! Oh my goodness, our house will be overcome with glass bottles. I'm glad that he enjoys his Christmas present, and it really is a lot of fun, but we haven't been able to taste anything yet.... Needless to say, we will be well stocked this summer.

Anyway, sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, things have been "busy" not really, but the boys have been wearing me out, and I've been dreaming and researching trips to take later this summer, and I also was totally engrossed in a great book. Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella. Kinsella is one of my favorite authors, she is a very funny writer, and her stories are engrossing, can't put it down types. If you haven't read her yet, I strongly encourage it. Remember Me did not fail to impress, I laughed my way through it, and even cried a little bit.

Lets see...what else...I got so fed up with my hair that on impulse I booked an appointment at the local Aveda salon....she didn't cut it exactly as I had hoped, but my days of impersonation Dorothy Hammil are done! I've made the jump to bangs again, and I'm not sure yet what I think of them...I think its a cute hair cut, but I need a few more days to see how I can make it work for me and my lack of time to shower most days...sigh. I'll try to get some photos of it posted soon.

Here are some pics of the boys helping with the bottling process a few weeks ago. Thankfully they liked helping a had a lot of fun, as it appears will will have much more bottling ahead of us. :-)
