Playing with the box

My parents sent each of the boys a big (mainly empty, thankfully) box this week with some things for Easter. After we got through the initial rush of taking everything out of the boxes, and acknowledging what we got,(oh, clothes, and "Jelly Beans, I LOVE Jelly beans!!!") the boys proceeded to play with the empty boxes for about an hour, until they ripped. It was pretty funny to watch, and continues to emphasize my thoughts that I should rid our lives of toys, I'm still to chicken to do it though, all though the past two weekends I purged some more...getting closer I guess. Finn played with another box of tissues this morning. I've decided that its okay, they are actually cheaper than any toy I could buy, and also recyclable, so maybe even more environmentally friendly (?)

Dominic has been using the computer at night to study, so I haven't been able to hop online as much, which is why I haven't updated the blog as much. I guess studying takes precedence over blogging. grrrr....But today we were up early to drive Dom to work so we could have the car, so Finn is taking a nice long nap, and Liam is having quiet time on the couch and that is why I can hop on now. Let me tell you, having only one car is kind of annoying. I really want to put all our financial plans aside and get a second car, I don't know how to convince my loving husband though, he isn't as inconvenienced by it as I am I think. Once he's at work he doesn't really notice he doesn't have a car (except for carrying his bags everywhere), where as when I am stuck at home with two wild boys for days on end...it gets a little dull. At least its getting nicer out, so we can take walks more often, and its better for me to walk more I guess.

HI Angela,
I found your blog! It's so cool! You have definitely been doing this a while. Maybe you can give me some advise. I have to read more of your blog later, but I was so excited to hear from you (on my blog) that I had to respond right away.
God Bless,

This is so funny! Plus, they seem to play together so well. I bet those boxes really allowed you to get a little something for yourself done.
