Dominic has started to take his running seriously. While I was away he ran a 5K up in Cary NC. He placed second in his age group (yippee!) and snagged a gift card for his efforts. All though he tempered his win by stating that he ran with all the "old guys". :-) As a family we will be doing a 10k volksmarch this weekend (6.4 mile walk). Next weekend he will be running another 5K "monster dash". All this is training for a the big event, the Atlanta Marathon in March. He and his buddy are going to drive down and run it together. We thought about going down as a family, but in the end common sense prevailed and so the boys and I will cheer him on from up here instead of me trying to keep them together in a crowded strange city.
