Pumpkin Patch

Like most everyone else with small children, we made a family trip to a local pumpkin patch for some priceless fall photo ops. We went out to Gross Farms out near Sanford, and had a nice afternoon. It sprinkled a little bit when we first got there, but the sun came out soon and warmed us up again. This farm had a very cool playground with a boat, castle and train all constructed out of wood, the boys had a blast playing and it was hard to convince them to leave so we could pick our pumpkin's! Eventually we did get them out of the playground and into the field where we took our time choosing the perfect pumpkin. We also went on a giant tractor pulled hay ride around the farm. In the end we picked two medium sized pumpkins and brought them home along with a camera full of great photos!
