At least we got to see our flowers bloom.....

Good news! I heard from the housing office last Friday, and they will have a new, 4 bedroom house available for us on or near 24 April. We decided to get on the list to move to a new house just in case we end up getting stuck at Bragg (its been known to happen!) Plus we didn't want to live in an empty neighborhood, and if we do get stuck here, at least Seamus will now have his own bedroom.
We are very excited. I have been praying and praying that we would be able to move in April or May, and here we go.(God is so good!) The even better news is we are moving to the same neighborhood that all our nice neighbors are moving too, one street up, but still the same neighborhood. I've attached a link to a virtual tour of a home just like ours, 4 bedroom, two full bath and one half bath, garage, and lots and lots of storage! http://www.circlepix.com/tour.htm?id=552560&refurl=
This week I am waiting for our orders so I can set up the actual moving date, hopefully I will know more details by Wednesday, for now all I know is we are moving at the end of the month.
The nice thing about being in the south is that we've all ready seen some of our flowers bloom. Last fall we planted 100 bulbs, and they actually started to grow! For those of you who don't know, I have a black thumb, I've managed to kill an aloe plant....so the fact that these grew and bloomed was very exciting for me, and the boys, it was fun to see the fruits of our labor so long ago.
Also this week, Dom is getting his laser eye surgery, this is something he has wanted for years, and so we are happy it is finally happening. On Thursday morning he gets his eyes zapped! The best part is, is that the ARMY is paying for it! And he is getting time from class to get it taken care of. Hopefully he'll be over the worst of the recovery by the time the movers come. Its been a big weekend here at the McLaird household. I will post our Easter pictures soon, I just wanted to share our good news first!

Enjoy some photos of my blooming flowers! :-)
