toys that are not toys

camera case
socks
marker cap My children spent another day playing with things that are not "toys". The big item today was pillowcases. Liam had three of them out. Most of the day they were our sleeping bags for camping and bear hunting, but we also had a brief turn at being potato sacks for potato sack races. I have rooms and rooms full of toys, and its pillowcases that they play with all day. I guess you can say they have a good imagination.

The other big news in the house is that the chu-cho fairy came by last night and took away Liam's paci to give to babies who need it. (It was a rather unexpected visit, but we managed none the less) He had a hard time falling asleep last night, but was fine all day today. Thankfully the paci fairy thought ahead enough to send a big boy gift in the mail. Liam played STAR WARS Lego tonight, with a kid sized controller on XBOX, because its a "game for big boys who don't need a chooch" So far he's not made a sound since he went to bed, lets hope it stays that way!

aren't kids funny, you can spend tons of money on toys and they want stuff that isn't made as toys to play with instead. Cool about liam and the paci! Hopefully all will be well and this wont be so hard for him
