boo

here is Dom shortly after his eye surgery in April...he was "passed out" on pain killers, but the boys didn't notice...I'm posting it now, because this is what we've been doing a lot of this weekend, resting quietly on the couch.
So a little over a week ago I suffered from a sore throat and low grade fever for about a week. Normally I only get sore throats for half a day, so this was something new for me. I managed to suffer through, keep husband and children fed and house reasonably clean. We were fine for a whole week, and then on Saturday Liam spiked a fever at 104.6. It came down with the help of some Tylenol and then stayed in the low 100-99 range. We kept him home from church on Sunday and school today. Thankfully he has not had a fever all day, so I can send him back to school tomorrow! woot! You can tell he was feeling better today based on the number of altercations between he and Finn that I had to break up and also by the vast amounts of food he was consuming. He still is coughing a lot, and has a drippy nose, but he is well enough to go to school. Today Finnigan started sneezing and coughing quite a bit. I am hoping and praying that he doesn't get a fever, I am tired of being home bound. Seamus also has been sneezing, poor little guy! Dom is also now complaining of a sore throat. Proving once again that what goes around comes around, especially in a family. We are hoping we all recover quickly, because we are planning on going to the Highland Games here in NC on Saturday! The boys love bagpipe music and are so looking forward to hearing a lot of bagpipes and watching the caber toss.

I haven't had much to take photos of recently with me being sick and now the boys lazing about. Hopefully I can get some good ones this weekend! Here is the link to where we are going
