today while I wasn't looking Liam did something to our DVD player, because now it won't open or close, and hence won't play anything. We've entered into the realm of broken technology due to children. I guess I should be happy he didn't poor juice in it or something. I was a little upset and mentioned that we can't just run out and get a new DVD player, that they cost money, and Liam kindly offered the four pennies he had in his bank upstairs. He was so certain that he had enough to pay for a new DVD player....(I guess we need to work on the concept of numbers sometime, I'm just happy that he can count to 20 most of the time.)
Anyway, he was so sweet about offering his money to get a new player, and since we don't get any channels on our TV, we ran out to the store and picked up a new one before bedtime. We also nabbed another copy of Veggie Tales Jonah, since it was on sale for $5, and ours is too scratched to play. So a good night in the end. sigh.
PS, our old DVD player is actually a hand me down from Megan, so we didn't even buy it in the first place, and I have no idea how old it is, but our new one is soooooo small compared to the old one. Its crazy!
