"spiderman in the lions den"

well, I don't know if Stan Lee would approve, or maybe even God, but Liam loves Spiderman, and is always begging us to tell him Spiderman stories. Dom is really good at making them up on the spot, usually relating to our life events with the important message of litening to ones parents (aunt May is always telling Spiderman important things before he fights the green goblin, and usually she is right and it was a good thing Spiderman listened to her) Today it was my turn to tell a story, and grasping at straws I changed Daniel's name to Spiderman and talked about Spidermans faithfullness to God in not proclaiming the Green Goblin as the coolest person in the whole universe. It worked in the story, and I think I hit on all the important theological aspects of Daniel in the Lions Den, while taking artistic liberty with changing the names. The things we do as parents.

Today we went to Arby's for lunch, and decided not to order Liam his own meal, since he only eats the fries anyway, and we can split a fry for less money. well, that was a mistake, today he was actually hungry, so he ate half of my sandwich. I guess from here on out we won't order him food, and because he is so contrary, he will in fact eat. Revers physchology DOES work with little ones.

what else...we started our cider this weekend, and the yeast is doing an excellent job eating the sugars, we had a little overflow. We are going to start some wine soon too. We are getting over our colds, and I found the camera, so its been a good weekend. Finn is up from his nap now, so I gotta go. Enjoy teh pictures of teh boys playing in some "blue goop" I made one rainy day. (corn starch and water and food coloring. Its liquid on teh cookie sheet, but turns solid as you pick it up, so easy clean up!

Things seem to be going so well for you. And I think using Spiderman as Daniel is okay. THey will learn the story and in time grow out of Spiderman but still love the story. I might try your goop someday this week, the kids are on spring break and I need somthing for them to do!
