I know I am way behind. Having three moving boys will do that to a mama. I will try to keep up on things. I'm going to start by writing down a few of my favorite moments over the past few days. Who knows, maybe I'll even get some new photos up...
"Mom, I'm cold!" said Liam
"Well, Liam, put some clothes on, then you will be warm." says mom
"I can't, I'm showing off my muscles!" replied Liam
what a stinker
You know you are hugely pregnant when the toddler has taken to grunting every time he needs to bend over and pick some thing up. Wonder where he learned that from!
"Mom, I'm so sleepy my eyes are wiggly" Finnigan
The other day I was busy doing something with Finn but Seamus insisted on being read too. Thankfully I have Liam around, so he took Seamus to his rocking chair and read two books to him. It's so nice to have more than one child.
On that note, it is so amazing to see how these boys love each other. What a blessing. When Seamus gets hurt (which happens a lot, he has a big head) Finn is the first one there to give him a hug and make sure he is okay. The boys love to play together, and are sometimes even letting the littlest join in on the fun. They really enjoy being together. Sometimes even Liam will play what Finn wants to play instead of bossing him around all the time *sometimes* . I just love sitting back and watch and listen to them play together.
This morning the boys were playing "Go-Fish" but the cards were a little too big for their hands, so sitting near each other wouldn't work, they could see each others cards. So, they took up the whole up stairs to play the game. Liam had his card spread out in his room, and Finn had his spread out in my room (at the other end of the hall). The bathroom was the "fishing pond". They would yell their questions to each other and then scamper to "go fish". What sweet little boys.
There are some gem's from the past few days. I am so blessed to be a mommy. I love these boys so much. But now I need to sign off and direct all this extra energy...I think my kitchen floors could use a good scrubbing :-)
