To move, or not to move....

So now that we are all settled into our "new" house, in a wonderful neighborhood with seriously the nicest neighbors you could ever hope for....we get a notice that they want to renovate all the houses and turn them into lower enlisted housing. (We have finally reached the ranks of upper Enlisted...woo-hoo). Anyway, they are offering to move everyone (for free) to newly built 4 bedroom houses in a neighborhood off post. Its still considered Army housing, its just not on base, confusing I know. So anyway, you can elect to move into the new houses, or you can stay where you are, or you can get on a wait list to get into a new 4 bedroom house on post (but longer wait list)

Normally I would say, lets just stay where we are, we (in theory) should be moving to a new base all together next fall (all though you never know with the army). Even if it doesn't cost us anything to move, we'll still have to deal with moving, and cleaning and everything. But the new houses sound enticing, and really our third bedroom, is really to small to honestly be considered a bedroom, and we do have a third child on the way, so technically we are allowed to upgrade to a bigger house anyway, and if I knew we would be staying here, I would be voting for a larger house, but if we really are only going to be here just a few months after the baby's born, we can get by, you know? My other concern is I don't want to be the only occupied house in the neighborhood. All the cool nice neighbors are moving in the next few months. And I have concerns about being all alone most of the day and surrounded by lots of construction workers. Especially for the month or so Dom will be out in the field again and I really will be all alone.

So our options right now....1. stay where we are (Dom's vote) 2. move to the new houses off post (not practical seeing as we only have one car, so no) 3. get on a wait list for a new house on post....maybe, it depends on how long the wait is, if its a year than no 'cause hopefully we should move by then anyway. if its late July, than no, because we will be having a baby...it also depends on if we really feel like moving 3 times in 2 years.... so yeah. Its just been on my mind a lot right now.

Also, our digital camera randomly stopped working, so I haven't been taking pictures obviously. Thank you very much to my dad for sending his old one that still works, I now have some more pictures to post!

FYI grandparents...the boys will in fact fit in a large suitcase...just in case you were wondering, sorry about the lack of clothes everyone.
