This year we had the distinct pleasure of Dominic being home for Halloween. (That doesn't happen too often!) In the afternoon we had an All Saints Party with some women from MCCW. It was a great party made better by the fact that all I had to do was show up with my two boys! The one rule was that the children had to be dressed as a saint. Liam went as St Michael (his current favorite!) with out wings or armour, and Finn went as St George (with out dragon or armour) My boys are not ones for accessories I guess. There were lots of St Michael's and St Georges! It was a fun party with bobbing for apples (my children's favorite game) pin the halo on the angel, orange rolling and guess the rosaries in the jar. It was a nice afternoon and I think the kids had fun.
In the evening we had our friends Tugaoens come over for dinner (AJ made us his famous fried rice! thank you so much AJ!) and I made pizza for the kids. Then we all went trick or treating together. At night my boys both went as Jedi, and yes, they were as adorable as you can imagine! Liam had a blast going around with his friends and Finn figured out the whole trick or treating thing pretty quickly! It was fun to watch the kids enjoy themselves! And I was even able to get rid of about half the candy by passing it out to other trick or treators when we got home! Enjoy the photos!
